Dear brothers and sisters:

This dream of the tribulation to come was given by the Lord on 4/23/09. Part 1  I was walking along beside a big flat bed trailer with rails on the sides.  The trailer was being pulled by a big truck or tractor.  People were putting all kinds of stuff on the trailer, but mostly I noticed metal and manufactured metal products that were headed for a compost recycling program.  I was looking at the stuff and couldn't believe what all was in it- new motor scooters and nice farm equipment and other very nice tools and equipment. I asked if I could see the finished compost pile and a man said, "you'll have to go to such and such a place to see it."  part 2  I went into a general store, like the old kind of mercantile stores that were prevalent many years ago, and bought a homemade jayhawk planter and charged it on a credit card. (a jayhawk planter is an old type of corn planter that is hand operated, and plants a seed at a time, no motor or mechanization involved.)  part 3 the Lord showed me sitting in a church pew with some people beside me.
Interpretation of the dream:  In the days ahead people will be giving up much to keep going and keep food on their table for themselves and their families.  New and expensive "things" will be sacrificed in a heartbeat for the real necessities of life.  Part 2 speaks of a move back to the land, both physically and spiritually, and the jayhawk planter speaks of a simpler lifestyle, one connected to the seedtime and harvest, of treasuring those things in life that are really valuable such as food and shelter. 1 Timothy 6:6-8  But godliness actually is a means of great gain, when accompanied by contentment.  For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.  And if we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. part 3 speaks of the fellowship, the body of Christ.  Hebrews 10:24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, v25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.

Genesis 47:14  And Joseph gathered all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan for the grain which they bought, and Joseph brought the money into Pharoah's house. v15 And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, "Give us food, for why should we die in your presence?  For our money is gone." v16 Then Joseph said, "Give up your livestock, since your money is gone." v17 So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food in exchange for the horses and flocks and the herds and the donkeys, and he fed them with food in exchange for all their livestock that year. v18 And when that year was ended, they came to him the next year and said to him, "We will not hide from my lord that our money is all spent, and the cattle are my lord's.  There is nothing left for my lord except our bodies and our lands. v19 "Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land?  Buy us and our land for food, and we and our land will be slaves to Pharoah.  So give us seed, that we may live and not die, and that the land may not be desolate." v20 So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharoah, for every Egyptian sold his field, because the famine was severe upon them.  Thus the land became Pharoah's.
But in the midst of all this, God's children were given the best of the land.  Gen 47:5 Then Pharoah said to Joseph, " Your father and your brothers have come to you. v6 The land of Egypt is at your disposal; settle your father and your brothers in the best of the land, let them live in the land of Goshen, and if you know any capable men among them, put them in charge of my livestock."
Phillipians 3:8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my LOrd, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ.
In closing, brothers and sisters, pray and meditate upon this scripture.  James 1:2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, v3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. v4 And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.   God bless you, be strengthened in Jesus name, Jim Rowh
